The AGM was held on Thursday 24th September at the Maroondah Federation Estate.

The meeting format consisted of:

1. Terry Macdonald (Chairman) opened the meeting and spoke about Roles and Aspirations at Eastern Volunteers, including:
   
   • Improving and extending our services
   • Obtaining assistance and sponsorship
   • Continuing our communication with the community
   • Articulating our vision for EV in 2015


2. Terry then introduced Tony Ferguson from the Footmen Club who gave an overview of the history of the Club and then presented a cheque for $4,000.



3. Keith Green (Treasurer) presented the fiancial report.



4. Terry Macdonald presented the following members with Certificates of Appreciation:
   
   • Yvonne Putz (Board Member, Driver and Office Volunteer): 15 years of service
   • Mel Gordon (EV driver): 10 years of service
   • Gus Devitre (EV driver): 10 years of service
   • Geoff Philpotts (EV driver): 5 years of service
   • Denis Horan (EV driver): 5 years of service
   • Bill Jack (EV driver): 5 years of service
   • Alan Mee (EV driver): 5 years of service
   
   Members awarded certificates in absentia were:
   
   • Wie Oh (EV Driver): 10 years’ of service
   • 5 years’ of service:
     
     • Trevor Stanyer
     • Bob Fallon


5. There was no requirement for elections and no nominations from the floor and the existing positions were deemed to be filled.



6. Vin Crowe and Associates were re-appointed as auditors.



7. Phil Turner, Director, City Development, Maroondah City Council was the guest speaker and gave an overview of the future of the Ringwood Central Activity District as one of six designated Melbourne Activity Centres.



8. Meeting closed and all were invited to partake in lunch.
