The Eastern Volunteers Business and Community Breakfasts aim to connect businesses and community organisations by sharing expertise and knowledge.

The next Breakfast will be held on Wednesday the 15th of August and will feature Dr Linda Martson from Animal Aid.

Dr Linda Marston, Acting CEO of Animal AidLinda has a PhD in Anthrozoology, which is the study of the human-animal relationship. She is passionate about understanding the effect we have upon the well-being of our animal companions and the effect they have upon us. Her research interests include animal assisted therapy, the neurochemical basis of the human-animal bond, and Animal Welfare. She is the Acting CEO at Animal Aid and her experience in Animal Welfare includes being an internationally recognised author, researcher, independent consultant on companion animal matters for WSPA and a university and VET lecturer.

Linda will discuss the many innovative programs run at Animal Aid and the exciting redevelopment plans for Animal Aid site at Coldstream, as well as the benefits of companion pets for people in our community.


The Bendigo Community Bank has partnered with Animal Aid and Eastern Volunteers to deliver the Eastern Volunteers Business and Community Breakfast.

The Business and Community Breakfast will be held from 7.30 am on Wednesday the 15th of August at Club Kilsyth, Corner Colchester and Canterbury Roads, Bayswater North.
